1. Instead of using a Google email group for communication, we're trying to implement slack this year. Rowers interested in joining the team should send an email to and Stephanie will send them an invite to Slack. Once they've joined Slack, they will be able to see all the communication to and between team members so far.
  2. Registration will open on October 1.
  3. We'll have an orientation night on 10/21, location TBD, from 6:30-8, for all interested rowers and parents. The booster board, head coach, and captains/rowers will be there.
  4. We'll have an open house at Sandy Run for interested rowers on 10/26 from 12 - 2 pm. New rowers will have a chance to go out in a shell, parents and rowers can visit the boat house and see how things are run, etc.
  5. Uni and other gear ordering will take place individually and online this year, through Boathouse. More details to come, including when the store will be open.
