It may feel like we are still in the depths of winter training, but believe it or not, the spring season is quickly approaching. To those of you who have been attending winter training - great job! It's been an awesome winter so far, with lots of speed to look forward to. If you’re someone who’s been busy nearing the end of first semester, starting off second semester with a commitment to winter training is a great way to set the pace for the rest of the year. In the spring, the speed of our boats will depend on the work we put in now, and we only have 5 weeks of winter left to get as fast as possible. And don’t forget, you still have enough time to earn that free winter training t-shirt!

A quick reminder for everyone: VHSL physical forms must be on file in the TJ Athletic Office by Friday, January 13! Doing this does NOT mean you are signing up for TJ Crew, so even if you still aren't 100% committed yet, please turn in your physical.

Finally, for those of you on the fence about joining TJ Crew (there are often a lot of freshmen in this group every year): We can't encourage you enough to just give it a try. We know it is a new sport for everyone, and it's hard to jump into something you don't know much about (we were freshmen once too). But trust us, you will love learning about it and you will love being a part of the TJ Crew team/family.
